Pulse is a personal finance tool. You're responsible for your own financial decisions — we provide information and AI-generated suggestions, not professional advice. We give you a license to use the app, you give us permission to process your data to make the app work. Don't abuse the service. We can terminate accounts that violate these rules. Disputes are resolved by arbitration in California.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Navazia Pulse] ("Pulse," "we," "us"), the operator of Navazia Pulse at navaziapulse.com. By creating an account or using Pulse, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Pulse. During signup we ask for your age range; if you select "Under 18," your account will be suspended and you will not be able to use the service. By signing up and proceeding past the age question, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate that account.
Pulse is currently offered to users in the United States only. We do not actively market to or accept signups from users outside the US. If you sign up from outside the US, you do so at your own risk and acknowledge that your data will be processed in the US.
You agree to use only one account, and to keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, so don't share your password.
Pulse helps you understand your personal finances. You can:
Pulse is not a financial advisor. The information, tips, and suggestions Pulse provides — including AI-generated coaching — are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or investment advice. We are not a bank, broker, registered investment advisor, accountant, or attorney.
For decisions that meaningfully affect your finances (large purchases, debt restructuring, tax filings, investment choices, retirement planning, etc.), we strongly encourage you to consult a qualified professional. Pulse is a tool to help you think — not a substitute for professional advice when you need it.
Examples of what Pulse cannot do:
You agree to:
Your statements, transactions, and other data are yours. We don't claim ownership of them.
To run the app for you, we need permission to do certain things with your data. By using Pulse, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
This license exists only to operate the app. It ends when you delete your account. We will not use your data for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
Pulse currently offers:
We may launch additional tiers in the future. If we do, we will describe them clearly in the app and on our website before they become available.
Pricing details are shown in the app and on our website. We may change pricing in the future; if we do, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance and give you a chance to cancel before the change takes effect.
Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, depending on the plan you select. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page in the app, which will direct you to the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until that date, then automatically return to the Free tier. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law.
If we offer a free trial or promotional pricing, the specific terms (length, what happens at the end) will be displayed at the time of offer. After a free trial, your subscription will automatically continue at the standard price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time through the Settings page (which directs you to the Stripe Customer Portal). Your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period, then your account returns to the Free tier. Your data is preserved.
You can also delete your account entirely from the Settings page. When you do:
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you want to use Pulse again, you'll need to create a new account.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
If we terminate your account for a Terms violation, you may forfeit any pre-paid subscription fees.
Some Pulse features rely on third-party AI services (currently Anthropic's Claude API; we may use other providers in the future). You should know:
The Pulse app, website, brand, design, code, and content (except for your data) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Pulse for its intended purpose. This license does not give you the right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Pulse.
The "Navazia Pulse" name and logo are our trademarks. Don't use them in ways that suggest endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
Pulse is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
In plain English: we try our best to make Pulse useful and accurate, but we can't guarantee:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Pulse nor its owners or affiliates will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Pulse, even if we've been advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to Pulse is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.
In plain English: if something goes wrong, the most we can owe you is what you paid us in the last year (or $100 if you're on the free tier). This is a normal limit for software services, but we want to be transparent about it.
Some jurisdictions don't allow limits on certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of Pulse, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of someone else's rights, or (d) your data or content. If a third party sues us because of something you did, you'll cover our costs.
If you have a problem with Pulse, please email support@navaziapulse.com first. Most issues can be resolved quickly without involving lawyers.
If we can't resolve a dispute through direct communication, you agree that any claim arising out of or related to Pulse or these Terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not in court, with these exceptions:
Arbitration will be administered by JAMS or the American Arbitration Association under their consumer-friendly rules, in California or virtually. You and Pulse each pay your own attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. The arbitrator's decision is final and enforceable.
You agree that disputes will only be resolved on an individual basis, not as part of a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. We do this because class arbitration is procedurally complex and not designed for the kind of small-claims disputes most users would bring. You can opt out of this class-action waiver by emailing privacy@navaziapulse.com within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and Pulse agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and via the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Pulse after the change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree with the changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between you and Pulse about your use of the service. They replace any prior agreements.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
If we don't enforce a part of these Terms in one situation, that doesn't mean we waive the right to enforce it later.
You can't assign these Terms to anyone else. We can assign them as part of a sale, merger, or other corporate transaction (with the user notification described in the Privacy Policy).
We're not responsible for failures or delays caused by things outside our reasonable control — natural disasters, internet outages, third-party service failures, war, government action, etc.
